How to get free lego pieces?!?
I heard from the lego store that if you are missing a couple of pieces, you can email lego the piece # and they will send you them for free. Has anyone done this? If so, can you please explain it to me?

A.
1. Find a Lego store where the manager is nice
2. Find the piece you are missing and ask if you can have that ONE piece for free
B.
1. Go here: http://us.service.lego.com/en-US/replacementparts/...
*I think you need to pay shipping and they don't cover a very wide range of pieces :(

You will not get them for free, you can BUY replacement pieces.
All the instruction books (at least the ones since 2000) have a parts list in the back of the book, with part numbers.
