Changing Drive Belts on Riding Lawn Mower?
I have a 2009 Huskee lt 4200 with the 18.5 hp Briggs and Straton motor. I need to replace the drive belts and from what I can see, it looks like I am going to have to practically take the back of the tractor apart just to get at it. Is there something I am missing here or do I just need to suck it up and start disassembling things? Thanks.

Don is right, on most tractors if you take the mower deck off it is much easier to get to the drive belt. Look on the tractor, there may be a decal with the belt routing.

while you're speaking with regard to the groundpersistent belt, the only that strikes the tractor, you will ought to do away with the mower deck to get to it. this is the tricky area. Set the brake/grasp, this might placed slack interior the belt. earlier you initiate basically remember to've a diagram to maintain on with whilst changing the belt. If no longer a pair of digital photos or a drawing will help. On my sears tractor the diagram is below the foot relax. That makes it undemanding once you're below the mower. i take advantage of vehicle ramps andpersistent up on them somewhat to enhance the tractor. much less stressful for us previous adult men. basically be certain you could placed it lower back on spectacular.

Just drop the mower deck and slide it out. The drive belt is easy to get to. You might also try their website.
