We have built special wire mesh carriers with different size "holes." Which ones we use depends on how big the pig is and how long we will be gone. All are built with 1"x2" welded wire mesh and the holes vary in size depending on which dividers we use ( 9"x12", 12x12 18x12). The cages sit in plastic pans to hold the shavings. When we take a good sized senior on a weekend trip, it gets a big hole. If it is a short day trip and we have a big entry, we might put a senior in a small hole but we prefer not to. Young juniors can go a weekend in a small hole, etc.

While we prefer to custom make ours, you can buy commercial carriers here in the US from rabbit supply places. You might try that where you are.
