what kind of truck should i get?

Im looking to get a truck, not sure which make tho. ill be using it to:

eventually haul a generator/welder so i can welding jobs out in the feild. i think it could weight around 800lbs or so. i really am not sure bc i've never really wieghed one. once i get it, it will basically be a permanent part of my truck until i settle down and stop travelling the country. but i wont be buyinh it for a while like 2-4yrs.

will be used as a daily driver and long cross country drive.

possibly off road to use the generator welder on site at jobs.

safe for ALL seasons. 4wd preferably, but if u can make a good arguement for awd, ill see.

either an ext cab or a crew cab. not sure. i doubt that it will be a people mover, i just want my potential passngers be comfortable.sugestions welcome.

fair acceleration, its not gonna be a racetruck, but enough accelleration to pass grandpa on a two lane country highway safely WOULD be nice.

its gonna have enough bed space to carry my luggage plus the welder, idk, i have a 2000 ford explorer and i fill the back space up, including my stuff, tire, jack. im not sure what kinda welder im going to get, might be the style that sits in the bed, might be trailer style. idk yet.

not horrible gas mileage, esp since its gonna be hauling a frickin generator eventually, so as long as its not absilutely forsakenly bad.

reliable. either domestic or import. make an arguement and convince me.

not cheap price, but im not buying it new.

safety rating is not a concern. i dont. care.

MUST BE MANUAL TRANSMISSION. period.

Diesel? maybe or maybe not? what do u think?

i've been thinking about maybe a ford explorer, truck style. a 2004 crew cab gmc colorado or mayve a s10. i;d like a wrangler but idt it'd have room for everything, ie welder, luggage, people.

are wrangler strong enough to haul heavy stuff like generator/welders or welders on a trailer?

They are capable of pulling pup trailers and full sized 53' trailers. If you need product to go down state or out of state, a sleeper cab semi might be a better choice. For small shipments, perhaps a simple box truck will be a more economical size for your company.Call us at here 00-841-1102 or email us at: tramptrailers@aol.com
