I think the thought of having twins is nice but actually having them and then my 2 year old son. Id have a melt down lol!
But saying then if they were my first babys id be loving it, very special :)

Hell no!
Of course I would love them just as much if it had turned out to be twins, but I prefer to have my kids one at a time.
It would probably be less of a big deal with what was supposed to be a middle child to have twins, that way you are an experienced parent and just complete your family a bit sooner. But for the first child? Going from no kids, no experience, to having to deal with two at once? No thanks. Or what about if it was supposed to be the last child to complete your family? Having to deal with two more if ONE more would already be a full house? Hardly ideal.
Nope, I am pregnant with my first and was happy to learn there is only one in there. My husband actually skipped a beat when my midwife told us it wasn't twins, he hadn't consciously realized yet that more than one would be a possibility.

Hmm, I dont know. I wouldn't mind if I had twins, but I don't especially want twins. It would be a crazy blur of nappys, feeds and a couple of hours sleep D:
