Is there a problem on youtube site?

I just reinstalled my computer and after downloading real player (the free version), I noticed that when I went to youtube, I am able to download the videos but am unable to change the quality of the image (the quality reflects 240p even when HD or HQ is reflected on the video). I am no computer expert so pls tell me what should I do? Thx in advance.

Update:

Thx Ivan...but this happens either yesterday or the day before yesterday. Can anyone pls log into youtube and tell me.

    I THINK THERE MAY BE, BECAUSE THIS IS THE THIRD QUESTION I SEE ON HERE WITH A YOUTUBE COMPLAINT WITHIN AN HOUR.
