Using Directions Hair Dye.?

I have medium/dark brown hair and I'm dyeing my hair Poppy Red using Directions hair dye.
I refuse to bleach my hair!
So I was wondering if anyone had some tips on how to make it look more well red and stuff lol.

It will turn a very dark red instead of light red.. If you really want to dye your hair red get 2 tubes of L'oreal affange infinite and peroxide 30%... no bleach needed.. It comes out really red. Also every time you bleach your hair you are permanently lightening your natural hair colour whether you bleach it or not. Hope this helps

yeah it wont show up . You have to bleach it , if you have dark brown hair it would only have red undertones in the sun . If you want you can try but it would be a waste of time , effort and hair dye so just save yourself the hassle and bleach your hair .
