Program Problems (Icons) - Windows 7?
Yesterday, something happened on my laptop, which I am using now. Nearly all of my program icons have changed into Microsoft thumbnails, which only open as a picture in Microsoft Office. I would get a screen shot, but I can't even open Paint to save one in. Basically, none of my icons allow me to open the programs, but instead, open Microsoft office with a little thumbnail made by them.
I do not know what I did to make this happen, and I don't know how to fix it.
If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.
I am from the United States.
Luckily, I was able to open my system restore. Thank you, Prince! I never even thought about that.

Use Windows system restore and restore your computer to sometime when it worked perfectly.
