Why is it whenever a guy talks about sex or taking my virgnity i get...?

I'm Catholic too and although I am a "liberal" Catholic, I get really nervous when a guy says stuff like that. Likewise, I have also never had any sort of sexual encounter with a guy yet.

it just shows that you're not ready yet, and that's ok! I'm in the same boat :)

if you're nervous then your body is telling you that your not ready. you're still young. wait for the right person and make sure you wont lose your virginity because you were pressured to do it. only have sex if your comfortable and your body is telling you that you are ready. Just because you're 17 doesn't mean you have to lose your virginity because everyone else is doing it. be different and wait till your comfortable. there is nothing wrong with being a virgin. it just shows how much you respect yourself and your body. don't be like other young girls out there losing there virginity because they think its "cool" or cause its "IN" or because all her friend have lost it. WAIT and do it with the right person.

Yeah that's very mature for a girl like you. Some girls get their heads off and knock their virginity out like they can get a vagina anytime! Some people have higher / lower hormones, but you are mature.

Guys are going to be guys.They like sex because they want to look cool. Some just want to act masculine, but when you get pregnant.... they leave you, that's how it is. Unless you have a bond with this guy, and you guys are engaged or somewhat like that.

You get nervous because the boy is talking about taking you physically and emotionally into a very adult area of life. You don't owe it to a boy to relieve him. HOld on to your virginity and you'll be glad you did.

In the meantime, educate yourself about sex and pregnancy so you'll understand it better.
