Please note: I did NOT say 'what age'; I want your opinion on a reason to stop driving at all.

Hi, I can relate a couple things.

I was not at all a good driver, and knocked over the only stop sign in town 5 times. The Sheriff didn't want me to go for 6.

But too, I went blind, so as hard as I tried, I couldn't make it out of the drive.

I gave up my license, gave up my car, but still have my Horse I can ride to the quick mart, although the deputies just warn me.

Obviously it would be when one can no longer drive safely. I am on the verge of seniorhood, I have no problem with testing seniors more often to ensure that they can still drive safely. I am very much in favor of tougher distraction laws as well (Texting and cell phones etc.) The point is not to scapegoat or punish anyone, the point is to save lives.

Either when they have a major offence while using a vehicle

When having multiple offences against their driving

When they are incapable of ever driving again, like if an elderly person is unable to see, hear, or use a motor vehicle properly.

I had to quit when I could not get in to the car safely or get out because my knees do not bend all the way and I have trouble walking any way. It became a huge hassle for me.:( I do not miss it. I can still drive and I renewed my license in case but really cannot see that well to drive.

When they are a danger to other drivers.....could be at any age and due to an injury, illness, drugs or alcohol. The problem is the person who should give it up will be the last to think so.

People should give up driving when they can no longer drive competently. The problem is that most people won't admit it to themselves. I also think people should give up driving if they can't control their drinking habit.

nicely some that are "bald" arent thoroughly bald. they have what i call the horseshoe hairdo. LOL! So, they might prob placed what coloration this is. in the event that they shave it, they placed what it replaced into. in the event that they are genetically thoroughly bald, then the could desire to place none interior the area provided.
