Questions about copyrights and stuff?
If i was to take a jack daniels bottle and dress it up, like with clay or something. And turn it into something artistic, would that fall under copyright infringement? If you didn't figure it out, i planned on selling them.
Now, does it make a difference if the label was intact / removed?
Copyright overall confuses me. Thanks in advance.

...If you're using the bottle with the label, and you embellish it then sell it, that's perfectly legal because you own that particular bottle and you own that particular label.
...If you're using only the bottle with the label removed, I don't think there would be a problem usually either because you've removed their copyrighted artwork for the label and also the trademarked image on the label as well.
What you wouldn't want to do would be to *duplicate* their image or trademark icon/text/etc on another bottle or in your embellishments or artwork, etc.

As for dressing bottles up with "clay," if you're interested in polymer clay we do that all the time and we do it on large bottles to tiny bottles, by embellishing or completely covering the bottles, etc.
We also do those kinds of things to other containers (ceramic, wood, metal, even many plastics, etc), as well as to other glass objects.
Check out some of these examples, etc, if you think you might be interested (and many of the ideas could be inspiration for air-dry clays as well):
