Is Earnhardt Jr going to get his advantage by NASCAR creating an LFC (lean fuel condition) for a cooler run?

I have a theory that Earnhardt Jr will get his cheating advantage by the NASCAR officials creating a lean fuel condition in his EFI module so his engine will run cooler temps, so he will have an advantage running the draft and get more HP.

This is my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Dude... Shut up. You have absolutely no evidence to even remotely support your crackpot theory. Come back when you have links to some hands on evidence, until then go away.

    P.s.

A leaner engine is a hotter engine you should get you facts straight

You probably have a theory that since he shaved his beard off that gives him an aerodynamic advantage too since his now smooth face will go through the air with less wind resistance!

    1. Lean condition = heat

    2. Heat = detonation (also sometimes called pre-ignition).

    3. Detonation = catastrophic engine damage.

    4. Catastrophic engine damage = D. N. F.

Can you please explain to those of us who actually know something about how an internal combustion engine works and what can cause it to stop working how a lean condition would possibly help Jr. win?

I'm not a fan of his but unfortunately I think this just might be his week.

"an LFC" is just a made up acronym, and not used in the industry. As far as your theory goes, it's pretty well shot to hell, because theoroetically a leaner engine runs hotter, and that was only because they used to use lead in the fuel. The only thing that's going to happen by leaning out the air fuel ratio, is that performance will suffer.

You're not much of a Physics guy if you think running lean cools your engine off. At a Superspeedway you'll just blow up after a piston melts.

Don't forget, you have to stick to your theory!

Hate to break the news to you, but running lean makes the engine run hotter, not cooler.
