Hamsters skin pulled off, please help.?

My hamster got into a fight with another hamster and now shes got a fairly big patch of skin missing from her side. It's very clear that her skin has ben removed as there is fat visible all around the wound. It seems to have bleed slightly but not much. Her behaviour hasn't changed at all, she spears to be going about her usual business just fine but I was wondering what would be best for her. Should I just keep a close write on her our should I try to clean the wound? As of now I have checked her over for more injuries and basically kept an eye on her. She hadn't really messed with it herself either. Cheers for your help.

Please take her to the vet. If this isn't an option (though I don't understand people who get pets but can't afford to take care of them properly) at least get chlorhexidine (also called novalsan) to dab over the wound. Chlorhexidine is a very nice antiseptic that many animal hospitals use to clean wounds, surgical instruments, and operating surfaces. Also, hamsters don't typically get along with other hamsters unless they were part of the initial litter - and even then it's risky - so please don't let your hamster "play" with others.

Take her to the vet NOW! And how did she get in a fight with a other hamster???

An open wound can lead the infection! Right now just put Hydrogen Perioxide to somewhat clean the wound and prevent infections(and no it won't burn since its now alcohol, it's just hydrogen Perioxide and water)

Source(s): Hope all goes well with your hamster! God bless you! You could get hydrogen Perioxide almost anywhere(Walmart, Target, 99 Cents Store, Walgreens)
