There's a cookie place called Great American Cookies, and I was wondering if anyone knew how old you had to be to work there??

They will not hire anyone under the age of 16. This is because of federal laws that limit the kind of hours and times you can have people under the age of 16 to work. They cannot risk the huge penalties for accidentally or negligently breaking child labor laws, so they just do not put themselves in a position to get into that kind of trouble.
They might require employees to be at least 18, but that is not likely. These places in malls tend to hire the kind of people who hang out in malls, and teenagers fit the profile.

I believe 16 years old is the youngest they will hire.Some of the machinery they use may require you to be 18 or older by law.Just go by there an ask them,they will let you know. I love Great American cookies.
