recent interview for nursing home job.?
i applied and interviewed for a nursing home job, that is advertised as "christian" one question i was asked.. how would you incoorporate a "christian" view in nursing care? i was ignorant and answered to what i knew they may want. i have extensive experience in nursing and hospital acute care. worked at hospitals that were proclaimed as this or that religious belief. never been asked religious beliefs. later as my anxiety calmed down after the interview, i thought this is just not right and bordering on illegal. i did not get the job as they wanted someone more conducive. now, is this stuff legal?i recently relocated to a small midwest town from a different area. trying to get the culture here. thanks, for any input.

If this is a private business or run by a religion-based nonprofit agency, they can set the requirements for employment in line with their charter. Same as if the agency required fluency in a specific language if they cater to clients that speak that language exclusively.
