why is Obama praising the Koran and Islam?

I think it's the same collection of partial conversations that has been running around for four years now. If you take things out of context, you can get anyone to support any idea you have about them. Only in America would it be considered a shameful thing for someone to know how to recite a prayer from a different culture in its own language.

I can recite the Ave Maria, but that doesn't make me a Catholic. I can say that if Catholics were being attacked for their faith, I would stand behind them, and still not be Catholic. I could say that my father was Catholic and I was raised hearing the music of the litany, and still not be a Catholic.

Or I could put together a collection of Obama stating that he is a Christian. Would that convince you? Yet you expect your collection to convince me.

As a devout Christian he has come to respect other religions and belief systems as well. He is an enlightened individual, someone you could learn from.

This is because now for Obama, it is OK to insult Christians because to them this is a normal way of things, though why they would feel its OK to praise Islam is beyond me.

It is just about time people started to figure he is a muslim

it shows that he is aware of other religions and respect them as he would expect others to respect his christian faith.
