Black Rat Snake Temperament?

I'm just wondering what the temperament of a Black Rat Snake is. I've never been one for Colubrids but I found a site offering a leucistic Black Rat Snake and I thought it was amazing. I've always loved lucies, but lucy BPs are a bit out of my price range. But these snakes are pretty cheap, and really nice looking. I know Texas Rat Snakes typically have a bad temperament, but how about Black Rat Snakes? Thanks everyone.

If you raise them from a very small baby and handle them often they're pretty good pets. Mine wasn't aggresive at all because it was handled daily. If you get an older Black Rat they can be somewhat meaner.

However, they are known for trying to escape all the time so make sure you have it in a very secure tank/container. We had one that grew to 8 feet long.

Black rats have been terrible for me. Im sure you can find a nice one since there Colubrids, but i mean terribly fast little buggers, and ive only had experience with one biter, but 6 fast ones and 1 slow and nice one. They earnes a bad rep from me.
