Help with a chemical equation? Subscripts?
I have to write the equation for the displacement of lead from a saturated solution of lead (II) chloride using zinc. This is what I think it is:
Zn + PbCl2 >>> ZnCl2 + Pb
Is that right? I'm not sure what the subscripts are though. Does anyone know what the balanced equation would be, including subscripts?

That's correct. Zinc forms 2+ ions, just like the lead, so there's no need for any additional coefficients, and you got the subscripts correct.
