i'm a guy musician but my idols are mostly female singers, is that weird?
My favourite band is Evanescence, and my favourite singer is Amy Lee, and i'm really inspired by her.. is that really strange? am i supposed to be looking up to male musicians?

No it doesn't make you weird. Everyone is inspired by different things, including music. Go with what works fore you, and not what6 everyone else says you need to do for inspiration.
