Is BBCOR even worth it?

I play high school baseball, and I am looking to buy a new bat. I've used a few of the new BBCOR bats, and I don't know whether to find a BBCOR or a good wood bat. Wood is substantially cheaper, and a lot of BBCORs feel like I'm hitting with wood. So, is it even worth spending the extra money for a BBCOR?

    I use wood in high school. I've given up on BBCOR.

    Thats the point of a BBCOR, to feel like a wood bat. it all depends on what your districts bat regulations are. if they only allow BBCOR then obviously buying a wood bat is not a good idea
