LaMicheal James the next Darren Sproles, agree or disagree?

I disagree, I don't think Sproles is as dynamic as LaMichael James. James is going to add a huge new dimension to the 49ers offense. While Gore will still begin as the feature back, James is going to slowly phase him out (it's sad to see, as Gore is a tremendous athlete and all-time 49er great).

James was the best RB in the draft, hands down. Yes, I know that Richardson got all the hype and is a better 'classic' back, but classic running backs aren't the ones dominating the NFL these days. You want burners like Chris Johnson and Darren Sproles, or dual-threat backs like Ray Rice and MJD. There's a reason why teams with 'classic' backs like Peterson are in the bottom of the NFL standings. This isn't a knock on Peterson, but teams that rely on rugged running backs, tend not to do well in this passing league. James is both a burner and dual-threat... and he's going to put up some huge numbers for the 49ers. That's why when we look back on the draft in 5 years, James will be considered the steal of the draft.

not sure why you have to compare him to sproles instead of just saying he will be a great player. and for those of you who are saying he will be better than sproles, lets not forget that sproles set the single season record for yards gained from line of scrimmage. so, no cal, just because he had a bad game agaisnt the 49ers doesnt mean he isnt a great player. even ap has a bad game once in a while.

disagree, San Fran won't utilize him the way New Orleans does with Sproles

Lamichael is more like Chris Johnson he will beat Gore out in the near future

Disagree, he'll be better. Sproles did absolutely nothing against the Niners in the playoffs.
