My stockings don't fit me and I have a job interview?
I cut the crotch out because the seam is really rough and was making me chaff after a few steps, then ladders had started to form all the way down. I have my first interview tomorrow and I want to look great. I bought a whole outfit today and looked great but you can;t try on stockings so I got the largest I could find but I have to be 80kgs at 5"6' and I am 115kgs, and they don't fit properly, they always sit 1 inch away from crotch and are really uncomfortable when they start to slip down.
I can't lose weight overnight, so any other ideas? Shops are shut and interview starts before they open again, I can try Kmart but I feel like I'd have the same problem.

Yes, you need to buy actual stockings, the kind that are held up with a garter belt or garter straps (suspender belt or suspender straps) on a girdle instead of pantyhose (tights). Avoid thigh highs (stay-ups) with the silicone band at the top to hold them up, if you are even slightly overweight, they'll roll or slide down. I'd suggest a good open bottom girdle, it'll do wonders for your figure and make you feel fit and confident, just what you want at a job interview. Get a pair of seamless reinforced heel and toe stockings made of 100% nylon with no spandex, which makes them too stretchy. Make sure your girdle has 6 garter tabs and it'll hold your stockings securely all day long. Are you English? If you live in London, go visit What Katie Did at 26 Portobello Green, 281 Portobello Road, London W10 5TZ near the Ladbroke Grove Tube Station in Notting Hill ( I think it's Notting Hill), they have beautiful retro reproduction foundation garments and excellent vintage style hosiery and will give you personal attention to help you find just what you need. I highly recommend them! You'll wonder why you ever wore pantyhose in the first place. By the way, I love that English ladies have rediscovered hosiery. Here on the American side of the pond, girls just go bare-legged, even at work or to formal occasions and I think it just looks so ratty!

OK, first of all the answers (to some extent), depend on what type of work you are applying for. But, basically, for the interview: Choose your clothing carefully. Be sure everything is clean and pressed. (Don’t overdress or under dress – dress for the job.) Have hair clean and neat. Shoes polished. Fingernails trimmed & clean. Carry a notepad and pen. Prepare questions for the employer. Prepare to answer common questions asked by an employer. Research the company. Attitude! Know where you are going (get directions online, or from the employer -- and DON'T be late! The usual questions might include: 1. Tell me about yourself. (Talk in the context of the job, not personal life.) 2. What do you bring to this job other applicants might not? (Be creative and keep it job-related -- maybe you have specific knowledge, or are an exceptionally quick learner...) 3. Why are you applying with ABC Company? (Go on their website still tonight, and look for the reasons you would choose this company.) 4. What are your strengths? (List three or so -- job related) 5. Weakness(S)? (Discuss something you are already working on changing.) You get the picture. It's ALOT about ATTITUDE. Be upbeat, let the interviewer know you want the job and that you will work hard. Be friendly, but professional. Good luck!
