Car will not run Toyota Echo 2002?

Okay i have nit seen it but my SO said that the car would start but shut down. She waited a day and it run but soon stalled and would not stay running.

she took it to a shop and they checked it out and they do not know what is going on.

1. Fuel Filter ok

2. fuel Pump OK

3. Cam/ timing belt OK

4. Battery Okay

5. Brain Box ok

6. Alternator OK

I asked a few others it seem it may not be electrical because it starts and since it gets started over and over it is burning though spark plugs. I think it could be fuel injectors, or fuel line. If it is shutting off that tells me it is a fuel problem not electrical. Besides everything electrical has been clean through the shops computer. What do you think?

I have read in a couple of Toyota Camry forums that this problem is often caused by a buildup of carbon deposits in the throttle body.

If that's what's going on HERE, you can remove enough parts and spray "throttle body cleaner" (NOT CARB CLEANER) in there and also the area of the idle air control, also located in the throttle body.

Not sure if this fix also works on Echos, but I figure it's worth a try eh?

If it DOES work, you can add a can of fuel system cleaner to your gas tank occasionally to prevent this problem in the future.........GOOD LUCK. hope it works for you.

Echo's are good autos, I certainly have the 2003 (yet i'm promoting as a results of fact i desire a truck as a replace) make sure the motor vehicle does not have any injury and view the carfax record. sellers purchase the autos at greater low value than the KBB commerce in fee so they might probably have the money for to sell at greater low value. $5500 does sound slightly affordable so basically make sure each and every thing is positive with it. averting the autos in step with fee could remember on what dealership they are from, whether that's a small dealership then that's advisable to, whether that's a bigger dealership (one that sells new autos too) then see in the event that they are promoting qualified or no longer.

I recommend paying your Toyota dealer for 2 hours diagnosis time for them to say what they think the problem is. Does any repair shop know more about your car than a Toyota dealer? Then you can get the car repaired anywhere http://www.automd.com/

Check the spark plugs anyways. My car needed them one time. I was driving and it completely shut off. It started again but it wasnt the same. I got them changed that same day and my car was completely fine.
