Did Obama commit sin against his Christian God when he confirmed his personal support of sodomy in marriage?

Common sense tells us two facts of life.

1) The purpose of sex is for the procreation within the sacred institution of marriage.

2) Same sex can't procreate so marriage is not sacred or natural.

Update:

Jay,

Only within the sanctity of marriage. For fun and expression of love within the bounds of matrimony is justified. Outside of marriage such indulgence is sinful. All other intimate relations is taboo outside of marriage.. Support of any sinful actions we must share the consequences of punishment. The law of the land also attributes criminal consequences for providing support for a crime to be committed or for keeping silent about a knowledge of a crime committed. Sin is also real as is crime and both are punishable for supporting it or keeping silent about it. But the point is the fact that sex is for the confines of marriage and homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord.

A quick example of supporting a sinful act of intercourse would be if we provided a bedroom for a friend and friend to engage in intercourse. An example of supporting a criminal act would be to provide transportation for a friend to rob a store you knew he intended to rob. Both scenarios involve serio

Update 2:

Lawyer X,

Unlike man's law, God's law is more like military law. But unlike any law made by mankind God's law never changes and is not a matter of how many think in favor or against His law. God's law is cast in stone and that is what makes it so beautiful. Not subject to popular demand it never changes. "Many are called but few are chosen". This is due to free will He has granted us to earn the reward of eternal life in heaven or eternity in hell. It is a choice for the kind of life we live for the reward or punishment for the consequence of keeping His commandments or sinning our way through this chance for eternal happiness.

Update 3:

Joe,

That is your atheism speaking but you are choosing not to believe which is your gift of free will enabling you to make your choice.

We choose to believe because we find that life is much more fun to live by God's law. Everyone who is anyone loves a challenge. There is no greater challenge in life and there is no greater reward after a life lived pleasing God. Our free will has given us this opportunity to gain an eternal life. If God does turn out to be a farce then it was fun living a challenging life following God's law. This is our choice and does make a difference to us.

It just proved he abandoned his faith for a more liberal left wing agenda, a faith that he never really had, ether as a Muslim or a Black Liberation Theology follower, neither support Gay Marriage,

Depends on which religious figures you listen to. I know plenty of clergy who support gay marriage, including some Catholics, in spite of the official church position.

Personally, I'm an atheist myself, so I really don't care. However, regardless of anyone's religious beliefs, the law must treat everyone equally and not take religion into account.

Why do some politicians that claim to love God proceed to want to give the rich continued tax cuts, which frequently leads to greed and corruption at the top, something that God didn't really approve of.

When it comes to politics and Christianity, people frequently just choose the parts they like to enforce.

Your christian god is also against divorce. Why aren't you trying to ban that, hypocrite?

He also says it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get nto heaven. Are you purposely trying to live a poor life? No? Why not, hypocrite? Why aren't you trying to ban people from becoming rich?

Hypocritical christians are too easy. NEXT!

Riiiight, but we also let Muslims, Bhuddists, and athiests get married, why should they care about what the Christian rules say?

Should women past menopause not be allowed to be married? How about men who have had vasectomies? People not planning on having children?

    Mike,

You'd be in the minority who have only had sex when it will lead to conception.

Even Catholics accept the rhythm method, which allows for sex at times when a woman isn't fertile.

Apparently, you only allow for sex when a women is most fertile.

That's your religious dogma. Believe it or not, most people don't agree with it.

I'm assuming you've never masturbated... because that has not purpose either.
