How hard is it people?

End the wars by bringing all the troops home, send them to college with lower tuition rates, better teachers who get better respect and better pay so the ones who are qualified and motivated to teach can do so more easily, end welfare for everyone under 65, and make sure that if you do get sick, that you won't have to take out a loan or sink your 401k to pay for a medical bill that your insurance company has been soaking you for in advance for years, in case the worst happens and they won't be able to afford their vacation in the Bahamas if they don't find a way to exclude you from coverage of your triple bypass surgery. Which, by the way, might not have happened if we were not in the era of cheap eats in America and you had to learn to drive a truck just so you could pay the rent. None of these exemplary needs of a lot of the American population should not be held hostage by political process. But they won't be forever. I promise you that. Traditionally, and unfortunately things will get worse before they get better. But they will get better. But not while the real owners of this Country run things. So stick it to them while you can, and Vote Democrat.

Update:

Sorry Sarah, I am not Libertarian. I do not think that society and government should have no power over the individual and the choices that individual make in society. Is it any wonder that true Libertarians want their own island to live on with no government and no rules of law? I am only asking what it would take for the current powers that be to do their jobs willingly as they were intended to be done, for the people, and not for corporations.

Update 2:

And Testor, whatever your name is... education is the one thing that should be free entirely to all who have the discipline to seek it. You, apparently, appear to lack discipline.

Update 3:

Yeah and Ron Paul 2012? I don't think so, because this country is all stocked up on bat-**** crazy already, thank you.

Update 4:

And this one is for Budd. Study your history, Budd, and take note that ALL domineering militaristic societies who do not reign in their forces for peace tend to become weak and collapse under their own weight. This has been true since Hellenistic times, with the city-state of Sparta, and has retained a more modern example with this tradition in the evolution of Japan as a capitalist nation in the era between 1921-1945. If something cannot be done to find a final resolution to curb an ever increasing and escalating obsession with the means to wage war, then the home-front will continue to suffer economic hardship until society breaks down entirely.

What you just described is far from anything a modern-day democratic candidate represents. Libertarian best fits your views.
