My Ge Whirlpool Dishwasher won't turn water on, or wash #GSD2000J01WW?

It turns on, I can hear the pump running, but the water won't spray. I've checked the water supply valve, ascertained that water flows through the supply line, checked for continuity at the float switch, checked continuity through the water valve, everything seems fine. I checked for voltage at the plug that connects to the valve and never got any, through all of the cycles, so I replaced the timer, which is supposed to turn power on to it. Still nothing!

Can anyone help me figure this out?

Thanks in advance.

Update:

It looks like it was the switch controlling the heated dry cycle. Put that in the "on" position and the water comes out. Doesn't make sense until you really look at the "switches" inside the timer and where they connect to.

I've ordered a new switch ($2.99)) and will post the results.

Update 2:

I got the new switch, ($6 w/ shipping), and it worked!

Who would have thought that the "Heated Dry" switch would have any effect on the water valve.

Hello, I am GE authorized. Does your dishwasher draw water into the tub or is it just not doing anything at all? Does the lights come on? (If it has light) Did you check to see if the float for the flood switch ( what you called a float switch) is stuck? Lots of times debris , soap and food will cause the rod to stick and it won't do a darn thing. If you do get water and you are having a cleaning issue then the holes in all spray arms could be clogged. Last July the government mandated not more phosphorous in the soap and the new and old soaps don't mix well and clog up the ports and nozzles in the dishwasher. You may contact me by email if you need further assistance.
