How do I get rid of the Yahoo! Messenger that keeps popping up at the bottom my screen?
It's always the same message and flashes. I can click the close box and another message comes up saying I still have an unread message and do I want to close. It's very irritating. My pop up blocker is on but that hasn't stopped it.

ME TOO! (and a lot of others I suspect)...
There seems to be no way to permanently opt-out of this service which seems very invasive.
Yahoo -- PLEASE fix this problem.

ya i'm getting something such as that, i save getting messages approximately random human beings including me on each occasion i log into yahoo messeger a pair of days in the past one guy or woman that attempted including me, his username substitute into "whythehellnot?" with out the rates. and im no longer kidding, thats the humorous section
