Is VBS programming safe?
I'm a complete novice, and yet I already know a way to make a fake virus and a way to make a real one; I shudder to think how many different ways there are to make them, and I don't want to make one and infect my computer accidentally. So - is VBS safe to experiment in programming with, or is the risk of creating a virus too large?

It will depend on what kind of program you code, for example, you coded a hooking program which hooks dll files into a certain program that can probably be virus that can infect your system.

If you mean safe for editing then no , it can be edited using notepad also if you are not using a compiler , ur codes might be harmful
