What forms of energy loss do wind turnbines have?
I'd like to know how wind turbines can loose out on energy for example the energy put into the sound they make when close up.

I agree with the above, but what isn't mentioned is good old Friction, the angle of incidence (direction of the wind)- which can lead to inefficient transfer of the winds power, manufacturing deficiencies.

Energy loss for wind turbines is mainly from conductivity in the internal wiring. The whole system is limited to the efficiency of the turbine behind the blades (usually a permanent magnet motor or brush less motor).
Wind turbines are actually a very good form of renewable energy. The main problem is that the wind is not consistent.
