Do I have to replace the blinds in my apartment when I move out?
There is one blind where a piece snapped off that's about 6 inches long. Will my landlord withhold my security deposit or take money off it if I do not replace this blind? It's such a small thing and there is nothing wrong with the rest of the blind. I live in Florida. I looked at the renters handbook but there is nothing in it about something this specific. I don't want to have to spend money to replace the entire blind for this one tiny piece, and using super glue isn't working and I don't want to make it worse.

Are they those cheap imitation Levelor blinds? If so, you can replace it for about $5. Really. Check Walmart.
Or you could just try taping the slat with a piece of masking tape. Unless your landlord is really finicky, he's not going to care.

Blinds are cheap. Replace it. The next person shouldn't have to have a broken blind. I really don't see why you can't just cast a spell on it and put it back together.

If it was not damaged when you moved in, you are responsible for replacing it.
My peer is correct about the cheap mini blinds from WalMart.Get one of those if it matches what is in the house already. That is what I put in my rental property.
