Do prostitution and gambling belong to democracy in America?
Well, friends who understand American freedom. Give me a clear description if those two parts of life are legal and belong to democracy in America. If true, how was the story until those two moral destroyers became parts of American life. I don't mean to be offensive against anyone.

Gambling was illegal under the Puritans, but by about 1700 or so people were gambling and dancing as much as they wanted. Gambling remains legal, with a few restrictions. Sex work is legal in 14 counties in Nevada, and it was a big part of life on the frontier.
At worst some gamblers become addicted and ruin not only their own life but that of their families as well. We have a proverb: You make your bed and you lie down in it.
Nobody sees gamblers as agents of moral degeneracy. That viewpoint is archaic.
The same is true of sex workers. No one sees them (excuse me, the religious fanatics do) as agents of moral degeneracy. That viewpoint too belongs to ancient history. In fact most people see sex workers as victims.
