I think the hidden blade looks much sexier now ubisoft could not have done a better job :D

I think it will be cool. I've always wondered to myself what it would be like for the hidden blade to be removable and used as a dagger. Also, in Assassin's Creed 3, you will actually be working along side Templars during certain situations. It's not an alliance, but Ubisoft wanted to put more emphasis on the gray area between Assassin's and Templars.

The Hidden Blade is like Altáir's, with a Native American Assassin Vambrace. For assassinations: just a stab with the blade connected to the forearm(as usual). In combat: the hidden blade extends and flips into Connor's hand and he uses it for a knife. Plus, he can use it with any other one handed weapon. His Flintlock pistols, and his Assassin Tomahawk. "Those British troops won't know what hit them. Or killed them."
