My dog's acting really weird?
My dog's never acted like this. Today is just a regular day, no rain, no strange people, no nothing. She's been acting like this my sister tripped over her, but she doesn't seem hurt at all. The weird thing is that she's acting all terrified, she keeps on crowding against who ever's nearby, and panting and shivering. She's looking around tensely, and her ears are erect. She can still eat, though. What could be causing my dog to act like this?

Something happened to your dog that obviously terrified her. Maybe someone kicked her or that particular incident just terrified her horribly. Show the dog she is loved and maybe play with her not aggressively but with enough roughness so she's used to it and doesn't get so scared so easily. But be careful and take it slow, often, terrified dogs have been known to snap if pushed to far....

Similar problem with my dog, it was this constant trying to keep his head up that got my attention. I found that by applying a little pressure under the chin to the below the chest helped. I think it was something he had eaten/swallowed that had possibly gotten stuck in his throat? I can't say for sure. At night I would prop his head up so at least he could get some sleep. Stay calm, stay with him, and hopefully by morning he'll be better. Don't give him anything to eat, and tomorrow when you do, give him half of what you would normally, and same again at night - feed him three times a day if you have to, take him for a walk before bed, he may be constipated as well, check his poo's.

Behavioral changes are indicative of health issues.
Either she was severely hurt by your friend tripping over her and is frightened it will happen again, shivering indicates fear OR she is hurt.
Dogs cannot tell you they are HURT, but sudden changes in behavior often indicate that they are indeed hurt. A dog that is hurt will still eat and drink but can still be hurt.
Her eating does not indicate that she is NOT hurt.

There is a possibility she has anxiety problems. Get one of those little dog coats that stop anxiety. I'm not sure what it's called but it helps for anxiety and stuff like that.

it really seems to me that something may have happened to her to spook her or maybe she if feeling sick and it's making her uneasy? either way give her lots of love and show her that everything's alright if it keeps on i'd ask a vet's opinion.
good luck.

She could be sick, or just bored! ask your vet to get an accurate answer if your concerned

She is sensing something? maybe take her to a vet to be sure she is not getting sick..
