ti 84 string with variables?
I can't quite figure this out and the manual isn't very much help. In a tangent line program I want to store the equation Y+M(X-A), Y being the y coordinate, X being the X coordinate, and M being the slope. I store the equation as string1 then use String->equ to turn it into Y2. when i test the program, it solves the equation, but i want it to display the equation with the A,Y, and M. any idea how to do this?

Using String►Equ( is a bit silly. You could simply just do:
:"Y+M(X−A)→Y2
instead of having to use a string variable.
If you want to display an inline equation where A, Y, and M are actual numbers, then you'll need to hack together a way to calculate the length of A, Y, and M, and then Output( each of their values depending on their length. Unfortunately, this can be quite tedious, and it's unfortunate that TI-Basic provides no easy way to display numbers and strings together on the same line.

i'm extraordinarily sensible it particularly is impossible. The language made for the TI-80 4 wasn't meant for great initiatives, in basic terms trouble-free calculations. as quickly as you're interested in programming, you ought to objective gaining information of considered consumer-friendly on living house homestead windows. it particularly is particularly together with programming on your calculator, yet has plenty greater innovations alongside with a great sort of variables and greater.
