New real estate salesperson commission split in Northern California?

Hi, I just passed my real estate salesperson exam. What kind of commission split should I expect from my broker? I am in the San Francisco bay area. Also, who pays for the association fees and MLS account?

Thank you. Feel free to recommend any good brokers you may know.

Usually the salesperson pay for the MLS fee and association fees, etc.

Honestly, at this point, the most important thing to look at with broker is TRAINING. Do they offer a formal training program (and no, following an agent around is not training). There is a broker in washington dc metro area (Long and Foster) that has a 2 week (80 h) training program for all agents.

Then worry about the commission when you start producing. Remember 100% of nothing earned is $0. Get off the right foot.

    You pay your own fees.
