Learning Spanish in America?

You have to immerse yourself in an environment where your english becomes useless and spanish is your primary tool of communication. You'll be thinking in Spanish within a month.

Hispanics are welcoming of people trying to learn Spanish and will not call you stupid. You can try listening to music in spanish and hispanic radios. Pandora and iheart radio are good sources if you have access to apps. Watching children shows is the best way to increase your basic vocabulary and understanding of the language. Try "Pocoyo" in youtube. Books and audio books will help you as well you can buy those online as well. Audiobooks.com has a good selection. Don't worry if you don't get it at first, it takes a while, just keep trying!
