I would say college first. Once you break that education track it is hard to go back and get into school gear again. You also have to consider the finances and your motivation. If you think that because your going to be less motivated then I would take some time off. College is expensive and if you not in it 100% then there is no point. Also if you think it would be better to save some money and then go to school, work is obviously the better option. College is actually a lot of fun and I am so happy to be a student; in fact, thinking of graduation makes me really sad.

If school isn't really your thing, you could always go to technical school, or get a degree that requires less time to complete. But I suggest that you pursue school while you still have the momentum of high school. If you take a break to start working, you may never go back to school.

Go to school first! I made the mistake of choosing work before school and now. I'm stuck at my job making minimum wage. I planned on going to school afterwards but... well life happened. Finish school first! Don't make my. mistake! Now I live paycheck to paycheck and am always behind on payments and struggling to pull through. I wish I could change the decision I made but i can't. Don't be like me.
