Why is Mike Minor struggling?
Mike Minor was really good throughout his first four starts this year. With an ERA at 3.40, now it's up at 7.09. Last year he was pretty good, posting an ERA in the mid- 4.00's. Is it time for the Braves to trade him for a C prospect since they don't have many needs? Or should they send him down and see how Julio Teheran (MLB.com #3 Prospect) performs?

Minor has just hit a little rough patch, I'm sure he'll pick it up soon. Trading him probably isn't the best idea. Minor is a strong lefty and will be like Beachy in a couple years, he just needs to work on a couple pitches. Teheran is pretty good and if Minor still can't fix his mechanics in his next few starts, sending Minor down and bringing Teheran up wouldn't be a bad idea

It's probably mechanics. I'm a big Braves fan but I don't believe we should trade him. He was the 1st round pick 2 years ago and we should lock up Brian McCann long term. Personally, if we wanted a Catcher prospect, why did we get rid of Salty? I watched Teheran pitch last year and he's just not ready yet in my opinion.

He's young and was rushed through the minors pretty quick. He's going to have times when he struggles, most young pitchers do. It's no reason to give up on him.
Maybe he gets sent to the minors for a few weeks to work on things, but he still has a place in the Braves rotation for many years to come.
