Is it possible that anyone can relate to this poem, comments please?

I wanted to learn I.T. so i went and bought a computer

The software was hard to learn so I also hired a tutor

Studied many hours till dawn but all to no avail

And now I lie in my bed writing about this sad tale

I tried and tried and tried and tried and got no where fast

What the heck is a variable and does it go in first or last?

i wrote a sub routine but the concept didn't really sink in

I tore up all my study notes and threw them in the bin.

I played a PC first shooter game to ease all the frustration

But as the many hours passed I felt very little elation

Where is the exit to this level and how do I find those secrets?

It's all enough to give you that syndrome, that is called Tourettes.

I tried out the printer for some other notes I wrote last night

What is that noise the printer makes that gives you such a fright?

It whirrs and whizzes so much, it made me a nervous wreck

Finally it stops, ready to print, I almost rang for the Tech.

Printer Jam! What the ... WHAT? I really don't understand

This is all way over my head and is not as I had planned.

I've rung the local Charity shop to see if they want all my gear

And when it is all been taken away, I doubt that I'll shed a tear.

This is funny! Oh yeah, I can relate all too well.

By "catching" Tourettes, do i assume you were regaling the cosmos with strings of hearfelt vituperation, even (gasp!) profanity!!!??? Egad!

The printer jam was the cosmic revenge for this. heh heh

    Don`t Surrender!

    Forget all you`ve been taught

and just keep retorting until your nerves are restored,

then learn all by yourself to file

    and such

(Computers For Dummies did not cost me much)

    then when it`s second-nature

    attach your printer

    and it`ll addict you through the winter;

The main thing is to grasp hat YOU ARE THE BOSS.

Like a car, it has its` fibles and does not actually give a tinker`s toss

for your expertise or your frustration.

If you`re luvky, you`ll get to join the growing nations of

demi-experts! Before then, one`s ego sure hurts ....

(an electric shredder also is recommended).

Great poem, but tutors are linear and

    computers are binary

so get to it hon -

    and forget the getting-it-perfect refinery,

it`s a matter of trial and triumph

    ....after trial and error -

bonne chance, and for now, `serra `serra.

I just wish that was something tasty I might spread on a biscuit,

guess I will have to rely on the marmalade,

the mess that was made lasted days and days but I still have my printer (s) and my laptop(s)

so when one goes down the other comes up for air

and if they both go kablink at the same time, I am dangled over the brink where I sink into anonymity within this room and the walls it imposes on me.

my pc is my window to the world, and I do not pretend to always understand it or speak it's language but I have tried to be at least compatible to a degree...

    clever poem

Take out the comma in "It's all enough to give you that syndrome, that is called Tourettes" and it's golden. i liked and sure, it can relate to people who don't know much about programming and try the "do it yourself" routine, like me! Or just programming n00bs(not like me)

As a programmer first (for years) and a poet second (sort of), I enjoyed your poem but can't relate to it experientially. I do, however, offer you all my sympathy, as what was hard for you came easy to me. (Fortran, Cobol, Pascal, Basic, C, Assembler, etc. were friends of mine)
