I went to the hospital and they made me take off clothes?

I jammed my pointer finger the other day. I couldn't get an appointment with my local doctor because he wasn't available so I went to the hospital and the male doctor told me to take off my clothes and put on the hospital gown. I told him I jammed my finger, and he insisted that I take off all my clothes. He said he wanted to check if I had a cold, so they did some testing for mono, strep and then had a male nurse insert something in my vagina to see if I had an std. Does anyone find this weird, I went there for a jammed finger..and nothing else.. I feel like I should sue them.

I could understand they would make you take your clothes off if they had any metal on them and you were getting an MRI; however, they went all out on you....So...I think you may have something here.

You should have asked why they were doing all this as well. Perhaps, they could have been looking at your immunization records and noticed you haven't had any shots recently but I don't know.

Doesn't seem weird to me, even when I go to my regular doctor they usually make me change into a hospital gown
