Do you hate Commercials with doorbells?

It is a a bit late not to get a custom doorbell... Sometimes my dog goes nuts when she hears the doorbells on TV, Anyone else familiar with this?

Anyway to break her at this late age?

Yes, yes, yes! Wish they would stop that on tv. They run from door to door. Are very disappointed when no one is coming to visit. They bark until I tell them with hand signals and voice. "All gone", Good job. Treat if needed. Still, wish they would stop with the doorbells!

Honestly I don't have that problem, but there's probably a reason why. When we moved into our home 34 years ago the doorbell was broke. We never fixed it, but instead put a sign on our door saying "Please knock.* Just two weeks ago my Husband finally fixed the doorbell after over 3 decades, so my dogs never really new what a doorbell was. Now when the fixed doorbell rings, they have NO idea that someone is at the door. We don't get very many visitors, but they'll probably figure it out at some point now that people are ringing the doorbell instead of knocking.

Nope. My dogs seem to be aware that the doorbell on the TV is not the doorbell we have, which is actually more of a buzz.

    So, no issue.

  • No I do not HATE commercials with doorbells and I have no reason to. My dogs know the difference between a bell on TV and our house bell (which resounds throughout the house).

Maybe mute the tv when those show up. Or cover the dogs ear when the commercial is on.
