Is Accuracy Scalable for a MEMS Gyrocompass?

The Microelectromechanical System (MEMS) gyro-compass that is found in smart phones can achieve an accuracy of about 2 degrees when finding true north. It is a tiny vibrating tuning fork like instrument that detects the 2 forces that the earth exerts (gravity and centrifugal).

For this example we'll say that it is 10mm in length. Is it scalable? i.e. if it was 20mm long would it be twice as accurate (1 deg)?

Thanks
