May I have advice on translation of "Ashuanipi" in English?

@ Laura: Wonderful! It is the lake or river in which I am interested, so does "nipi" mean "water", and is this Inuit or Cree dialect/language?

I am now thoroughly confused as further searches have found that "nipi" can have several meanings--"water", "music", "sound", as well as "a lake with two outlets" (what about the river?), but no reference to "ashua" ...

Its a name of a Canadian lake or a town. Its an Indian word meaning "lake with two outlets".

There doesn't seem to be any direct translation that I can find on google but there are a lot of interesting sites including video dedicated to the Ashuanipi river.
Based on my brief search, it seems to be Innu in origin.
