Last year did the Bucs underachieve, or overachieve the year before?

After the addition of Vincent Jackson and the boost to the o line, are they in the top 6 in the coming year inthe NFC? And what do you think they still need, other than the glaring hole at linebacker left by barrett ruud and Derrick brooks?

Personally, I believe that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers underachieved in 2011. They started out the season 4-2, with wins over the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints, before losing the final 10 games of the season, to finish 4-12. I know injuries played a role in this, but it seems as if the team stopped playing hard before the season was over.

If this Buccaneers team can stay healthy, they should definitely contend for the NFC South division title. Going from last to first in the division is familiar territory for the Buccaneers, having doing this twice (winning the NFC South in 2005 after finishing last in the division in 2004, and doing the same in 2007 after finishing last in 2006). The other time they finished last in the division (in 2009), they followed it up with a 10-6 season in 2010.

Source(s): I think the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win the NFC South in 2012.
