Is the killing of Jesus and the killing of Osama Bin Laden similar?
1. Jesus was popular amongst his people, so too Osama was popular amongst his people.
2. Jesus preached a strange way of life, Osama also preached a strange way of life.
3. Jesus died supposedly on the cross under strange circumstances, Osama also died under strange and mysterious circumstances.
4. Jesus was "crucified" by the Romans who ruled from Capitolene Hill in Constantinople, Osama was "killed" by present day Romans ruling from Capitol Hill in Washington DC.
I am drawing the attention more to the circumstances they were killed and the people who did it.

Yes, it is something similar. Jesus was an enemy for his disobedience to the Ruling Romans. His God and message was against that of Roma. Now, he turns to be the son of God, accepted by those who made him their enemy.
Osama Bin Laden was a threat to the peace, is a hero for those who agree with his threat. He may become another Jesus Christ if someone will come out with a holy book as his biography. We have seen that of Mohamed and Jesus Christ, and surely, one day that of Osama Bin Laden will be printed. We live in a DEMOCRATIC AND FREE IMAGINARY WORLD OF INVENTIONS. Anyone can claim to be a prophet.

Let's for this question presume the story of Jesus is true.
1. No Osama wasn't, he was only supported by the very small group of extremists.
2. He didn't preach a strange way of life, he preached for a war against every non-muslim.
3. I think it's fairly clear what happened to both.
4. Just no
Biggest difference: Jesus was presumed a Messiah, Osama is considered a nutjob extremist. That's a major difference.

So your trying to draw some kind of association between the death of two people. Read you statements, nothing is close to being similar. You have answered your own question but are apparently not smart enough to see it.
Think about it!

In regards to the similarity in their deaths, yes. Interesting assessment.
As for the similarity in their character, that is another question.
