What is the max height a firehose can pump water?

Asking here because it's the closest we have to a "firefighting" section...

Anyway is pumping water to a fire 100+ stories high even possible? What's the plan for a fire like that? Seems like the pressures would be so extreme that the hoses would burst and there would be no water pressure at that height.

And yes, basically interested because on 9/11, it seems like the fires would have consumed the buildings regardless of a sudden collapse. No one could have put them out. Or am I wrong?
