Yes, if someone were trying to defame me, I'd recognize it as a recognition of my ability. But when it's a lame attempt, then I'd view it as an insult to my intelligence, and possibly to everyone else involved.

I would be annoyed! But I would feel empathy that somebody leads such a life that they spend their time making fake personas online.

When our Simple and Urine friends here have nothing honest or smart to say, and when every single lie of theirs is put into shame, what else do you expect them to do? Keep up the good work my friend ;)
