Something I am curious about on the dream interpretation board....?
I've been hanging out on this board for some time now, and there is something I'm curious about.
It seems that sometimes someone will often open a new account just to ask one question about a dream, and never use that account again. Sometimes I wonder why? Is it because dreams are so personal to us? Is it fear of finding out what a particular dream may say about you? Does using a different user id from the one that you usually use help you to feel like it is more confidential? Is it that a particular dream may pique your curiosity enough to want to ask about it, and that is just the only thing the poster wanted to know about? What do you guys think? I would especially like to hear some answers from the more experienced interpreters on the board if you have ever noticed this, or if you have any ideas why, but also if you are someone who has opened an alternate account just to ask about a particular dream as well, I am curious why you did it, if you used a new account just to ask about a particular dream, I won't know what account you used, or what the dream was about. Just wondering if anyone has ever noticed it, or has any thoughts on it. Thanks in advance for your answers.
Hi C,
Thanks for stopping in to offer some input.
Even though you aren't engaged, you can still have dreams of being asked. The other person in the dream doesn't necessarily represent anyone you know, the other person may represent an aspect of your own self that you are unfamiliar with, or getting to know. To actually marry this other aspect can represent things like integrating some new quality into your own self, accepting a new facet to your personality. That the other person in the dream is *proposing* marriage, could be about getting to know something about yourself, or learning about something new in yourself, and perhaps thinking it over whether the quality represented by the other person is something you wish to embrace and make a permanent part of your life. If you reject the proposal, you may be thinking about a quality you don't like about yourself that you have become aware of, and deciding to reject it perhaps? ( I'm just kind of thinking aloud, a
(I'm just kind of thinking aloud, as I have never contemplated on the difference between getting married vs. proposing marriage and how that might affect a meaning in a dream...)

It's different reasons why people ask questions then later they disappear sometimes people can relate to the person on discovering the true meaning and it can be hurtful or the person can disagree with the thoughts and never ask another question. Some people are open minded and some people are close that's just how life goes. It's okay to be a person that speaks their mind but don't worry about what your doing wrong...Your doing your job and that's all that matters. When you're passionate about things life will have it's ups and down but no matter what keep going because you have help someone on the long run. I keep having a dream of a person asking me to married him but I'm not married or engage so idk.

I have been interpreting dreams long before there was a "Dream Interpretation" site on Yahoo Answers, and yes I have noticed that some ppl only open an account to ask about a certain dream. But I am not so filled with loving kindness as you. People ask a question and then switch and answer the same question themselves, and get points for it. That is how the game works for some of the higher members on the Dream Interpretation Best Answer board. Also they work as a giant team asking questions to the Dream Interpreters and awarding the same person who they like or are employed by to get high winning marks. I have tracked them and am onto them. I kept wondering why I saw all these ppl with only one question, but when I saw the same person awarded time after time, I put two and two together. This person quotes out of a text book, and dream site, and often repeats the same answer to different questions, one right after another. It is cheating. He/She is not using her own mind to come to an answer, but is relying on a source already written. For shame! For shame! At least I use my own brain!
