can i use tweeters from a home stereo system in my car?
i mean like the small tower type tweeters and speakers that plug into a stereo. could i get two of those tweeters out of the tower and put them in my car.

if the ohm load is correct then yes you could use them in a car. however, do not expect them to last very long . especially if you mount them on the dash or other place in the direct sun. home speakers are not designed for the temperature extreme's encountered in a car.

if the impedance (ohms) and wattage's match (tweeters can be of higher wattage but not a lot. I personally don't think you should go lower.
