What to do if your mother hates you?
My mother is ALWAYS without fail, putting me down, telling me that she doesn't like me and is ALWAYS critisising me, my hair, my clothes EVERYTHING!!! I am sick of it, I've had enough, and I don't want to live on this earth anymore, because she makes my life a living hell and I have to pretend everything is alright at school.
She called me a B**ch, a slut everything and anything she can think of, telling me that I look like a tranny, swearing at me, hitting me. Even my friends who have never even met her, only seen her, say that she is evil and she says that she is always wishes that I was a baby again. My dad says that I do nothing wrong, it's just her going through menopause, as she only started being like this a couple of years ago, but she makes me feel worthless all the time and I just don't want to live. What should I do? Should I pack up and runaway from home (I'm 14)?

Chelsea, don't ever think about running away from home. Believe it or not, the world is a dangerous place. At least at home you are physically safe.
You have to have a serious conversation with your dad. What your mother is doing is called emotional abuse.

Your mother has to see a therapist. A mother calling her child a "bit**" is not an acceptable behaviour. She clearly has issues that have to be addressed.
Well, be strong. I wish you all the best.

I am a mother of a 13 year old girl and I know you guys can be a handful, but with that being said, I would never cuss at my child or hit her with malice.
Right now you are going through so much and life seems almost impossible but this too shall pass. Things are never as bad as they appear in the light of day. You will not forever be 14. One day you may have a daughter and you will know how NOT to treat a child. If I were in your shoes I would talk to your dad first, then talk to your mom. Have a good sit down and tell her how you feel. If you don't want to talk to her face to face, write her a letter explaining how her actions effect you.
As a mother I can tell you that she loves you, but as a teenager its not always easy to see it.

Tell your mother how you feel. If the problem continues see a counsler and try to stay out of her way as much as possible. God bless!
